BNB Smart Chain Gas Calculator for Your Transaction

Estimate the BNB network fee for a BNB Smart Chain transaction using a gas-price quote and transaction-specific gas units. Review the result in BNB and USD before sending, while keeping the transaction amount and exchange service charge separate.

Estimate a BSC Transaction Fee

Use the current BSC gas-price input or enter a gas price manually, then supply the gas units for the transaction you intend to make. A transaction simulation, when available, estimates that specific call rather than assigning one constant to every token transfer.

The calculator estimates costs without submitting a transaction. Never provide a recovery phrase or private key to obtain a fee estimate.

Understand the Units Before Comparing Fees

Gas units measure the estimated work, while gas price expresses the cost per unit. On BSC the fee is paid in BNB; gwei is a denomination, not another coin.

Quantity Meaning in the estimate
Gas units Estimated transaction work; dimensionless
Gas price in gwei Price per gas unit, where 1 gwei is 10⁹ wei
Fee in BNB Gas units × gas price in gwei ÷ 10⁹
Fee in USD Estimated BNB fee × the current BNB/USD reference

One BNB equals 10¹⁸ wei. For example only, 50,000 gas units at 0.1 gwei gives 0.000005 BNB; at a hypothetical $600 per BNB, that is $0.003. These are illustrative inputs, not current gas or market prices.

Use the Transaction You Actually Plan to Send

A native BNB payment, a token transfer and a contract interaction can perform different work. Estimate the specific destination, amount and call data where simulation is supported instead of treating a simple transfer’s gas requirement as universal.

Planning a Native BNB Payment

Keep the payment value outside the fee result. A wallet needs enough spendable BNB to deliver the amount and fund the gas requirement shown in its final confirmation.

Planning a Token or Contract Transaction

A token balance does not normally pay the BSC gas fee by itself; the sending account needs BNB unless a supported sponsored arrangement explicitly provides otherwise. An approval and a later contract action can be separate transactions, so each needs its own estimate.

This calculator is for BNB Smart Chain. Do not use its result as an opBNB or another network’s fee calculation.

Distinguish an Estimate from a Final Charge

Estimated gas use can change with transaction details and contract state before execution. A wallet’s gas limit is a cap rather than a promise that the whole limit will be consumed; after inclusion, the transaction receipt provides gas used and effective gas price for checking the actual fee.

If simulation fails, treat that estimate as unavailable instead of zero. Investigate the reported issue, which can concern a reverting call, insufficient funds, missing approval or unavailable network data; a manually entered gas value does not prove that the transaction will succeed.

A stale gas-price source should remain visibly stale, with its last update time, rather than appearing as a fresh quote. Always review the sending wallet’s final confirmation before signing.

Keep Network Gas Separate from an Exchange Quote

The result above covers a BSC transaction, not BNBExchange’s service charge or a payout on another network. A complete exchange can involve your source transaction, service costs and a separate receiving-chain transfer.

Use the BNB to USDT exchange for its net payout and disclosed charges, or exchange USDT for native BNB if you need that coin for later BSC activity. For a separate valuation of your BNB balance, use the BNB/USD price page.

Frequently Asked Questions

BNB (BNB) cryptocurrency logo

Does increasing the gas limit automatically make a transfer faster?

A larger limit allows more work but is not itself a speed bid. Use the wallet’s appropriate fee settings and an estimate for the actual transaction rather than raising limits arbitrarily.

Can a failed transaction still cost BNB?

An included transaction that fails can still consume gas. A simulation error is different: it is an unsuccessful estimate and must not be displayed as a free successful transfer.

Does the USD fee include the amount being sent?

No, it values the estimated BNB gas cost only. Keep the transferred BNB or token amount and any exchange charges separate from that fee result.
